Using your new email in Microsoft Outlook Express.

Load up Outlook express and go to the pull down menu at the top of the screen. Click on the tools tab and go to accounts. Now you should have a screen like this

Now select the ADD tab at the top of the buttons on the right to add a new account and select mail from the new tab which appears. This will add a new mail account. Now type in the name you want people to see when you send them an e-mail. Next type in the e-mail address you have chosen. After entering your e-mail your next screen should look like this

Now you need to enter your details sent in your email regarding your e-mail setup details. First enter the pop3 address, then add the auth.smtp After entering these correctly you will be taken to a screen like this

Now all you have to do is type in the username you have been given and the password you have been given (you may change your password upon request). Also read the text underneath the entry spaces as this explains that you need to add authentification to send e-mails.

After you have set up an account you need to get back to the accounts screen which looked like this

Now you need to select and highlight the account you have just set up, select it from the list then click on properties. You can now change the name to make it easier to see your account. You then need to click on the servers tab and you should have a screen like this

After reaching this screen you need to check the check box in the Outgoing mail server which says "My server requires authentification" Now click on apply and ok and your ready to rock and roll.
